Last weekend, I visited Craftroom another craft meeting in Barcelona. I didn’t talk you about it before because I discovered it last Friday. Craftroom is a meeting that takes place into the Craft Catalonia Week. The “Consorci de Comerç, Artesania i Moda de Catalunya” organizes this exhibition from November 30th to December 2nd.
This meeting is about Catalan artist creations. One of the things I liked the most were the creations of Apart Edicions, particularly the works of Josep and Ramon Moscardó.
A PART Edicions started up at the end of 1999 at La Palmera workshop with the aim of promoting screen printing as one of the procedures with the most creative and technical possibilities in the world of Original Graphic Artworks and Original Posters.
The Original Graphic Work of Art is not a reproduction of an original, but a work created specifically for printing.
Screen printing is a technique that involves printing on a screen, one for each color, which constitutes the originality of the process.
I particularly liked the creations of these two artists. Here you can see a sample, and on their website there are many more.
