CONFETTI WALL!

I know I owe you some pictures of my new kitchen, but there are a few details I want to fix before posting. Today however, I will show you a small project in one of the kitchen walls. So far, it was an empty wall, long and unfurnished. Too big to paint it in a bright color, but also too big to leave it all white. So searching through Pinterest I saw this beautiful idea on the blog Wee Birdy,  based on a Beci Orpin original idea, and I decided to try it.  
After painting the wall in a latte color, I tried to paint the circles with sprays, but I didn't like the result so I tried with the original idea.  
Needed: paper, scissors and some Blu-tack. And here is the result!

It's a shame the pictures don't show the whole wall (to give you an idea, it measures about 4 meters). I am very happy with the result!!
 
Total cost: 3 euros.

LATELY...

As I remarked some time ago,  I'm slowly reforming the apartment where I live. From the beginning, the messiest room was the kitchen. It was outdated and needed a full makeover, but that's expensive and involves a lot of work. So I've been  spending my time in other projects, waiting for the perfect occasion and dreaming with kitchens like these.

Some weeks ago, I decided that the perfect moment never comes, and it was time to act. It seems that things start to get going, but that means now my kitchen looks like this:

Chaos. Chaos in my home and in my life.

So forgive me if these days I'm a little absent from the blog.

I will keep you updated as my kitchen evolves (hopefully fairly quickly and without surprises).

LITTLE CHANGES AT HOME

We're redecorating our house. Nothing major, little changes. We're doing everything slowly, because I like to search thousand things before I decide. I leave you some pictures of an apartment in Barcelona that I love. I found the pictures on the blog French By Design. The initial article was published in the magazine Habitania a few months ago.

I think it is cozy, without cold "modern" furniture. A house full of light, simple and with personality.

SUNDAY ON MERCANTIC

Last sunday we went to MERCANTIC.

Mercantic it’s a permanent market of furniture, antique objects and curiosities. Mercantic,is located in Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona), at seven minutes from Barcelona, is the most original and unique space in the Spanish State devoted to the buying and selling of antiques, auctions and architectural demolitions.

You can find all sorts of curious objects, from furniture to industrial chandeliers.

There is also a school of restoration, a children's area, a bookstore with over 10,000 ancient books and a curious restaurant.

There are also a lot of  AUCTIONS taking place every Saturday morning. Everyone listens carefully to the moderator's instructions in this exciting onset.
This is the chance to get an incredible price, and a puzzle for valuers trying to figure out a lot's starting price before bids.

It’s a good plan for a weekend!

HOME INSPIRATION

Good Saturday morning! These days I'm doing a little home redecoration.  I have not finished yet but it seems there's a light at the end. We are redecorating the largest room of the apartment.  We have laid the floor, removed all the old furniture (until yesterday we still had the old  big wardrobe), painted the walls and made the trip to the furniture store (Ikea forever). Now  there are only left to do the final touches of paint and waiting for the furniture to arrive. Well, then will have to  reorganize the entire house and put everything in its place because now there are clothes everywhere! As I have not finished and I can't show you pictures, I want to show you a little idea I have. Basically, turquoise, black and white.
