MUSIC (TUESDAY'S EDITION)

Hello, hello! Yesterday  I took the day off to enjoy the beach, maybe for the last time this summer. But today I'm back to work and I'm bringing you some new music.

This one is  in catalan ("la platja" means "the beach" in our language).

I'm a little bit  excited for fall to come. I wish for some rainy days, cool weather and autumn clothes (yes, I'm bored of wearing summer dresses). But it seems that the sun and the heat won't leave us for a while...

HENRY, THE FLYING BABY

Hi there! No, I have not disappeared, I've just finished up my vacations and I'm back to work :-S

But hey it's Friday at last! and to celebrate I bring you a new series of flying people because I know  you love it  ;-P  And this time the one who flies is a baby!

Last Monday was our first wedding anniversary. This year has passed so fast… but we have  happy memories of the wedding day and the honeymoon.

MOVIES FOR KIDS (OR NOT!)

I love kids movies, especially the creepy ones, with monsters, dark sceneries like "Coraline" or "Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events". That's why I'm so excited to see "ParaNorman" (from the makers of Coraline) this August!

Kids, Zombies, Ghosts, so cool!


Another kids movie with monsters and ghosts is "Hotel Transylvania".

I'm not so excited about this one, I guess I'll wait to watch it at home, but sure I'll give it a chance...

An another movie, this one with real actors. Disney is preparing a new movie about the magic world of Oz,  "Oz The Great and Powerful".

Great, right? Anyways, to me, the best movie about Oz it will always be Return to Oz (1985), totally a not-for-kids movie, really creepy...

And the last one, "Brave". Just because some say I look like her ;-P

THE HAVANERAS

It's summer, and summer is the perfect time to sing a typical Catalan song, the havanera. The original havanera comes from Cuba. Many Catalan sailors went to Cuba during XIX century and returned to Catalonia with these traditional songs. People usually sing it near the see, at night. I let you this precious havanera singed by Silvia Perez Cruz in Calella de Palafrugell, a little town in the Costa Brava.

Last summer, JJ and I went to Swedish Lapland. We rented a car and drove the roads of this magic place on Earth. Green landscapes, cabins and midnight sun.

I made a playlist for our trip. Everytime I listen to it, It reminds me of that special time.

Well, I'm officially on vacations!! I'll be spending  the day with my family in a little village near the sea. Tomorrow JJ and I start our vacation tour: some time with dear friends, camping, nature, sun and beach. Life is good!

Hey! I'm on holidays, hooray !! To celebrate, I leave you some funny things I've found via Internet

• A few days ago I discovered the blog Cabin Porn. No, it's not about porn in cabins ;-P It's a blog for cabin lovers and this is what you'll find: stunning pictures of cabins around the world...So inspiring!
• And talking about inspiration, have you seen the last video from  Kinfolk? It's called "An Ode to Summer" take a look here.
• Now we change the subject and talk about animals. Strange and beautiful animals like the  Rosy Maple Moth or the Pacific Barreleye Fish (yes, it has a transparent head!). Here you have a video about this amazing fish...
• And talking about strange animals, can you imagine a giant pink rabbit, so big that you can see it from space? Then go to the italian Alps  and find this amazing art creation from Gelitin Collective. Also, you can see it from Google Earth!
